Paris Hilton's Million Dollar Chat Revealed
I am in awe that in America you can commit a crime, be jailed for the same, and then be paid $1 million to tell all. These kinds of acts on the part of NEWS channels are just what hides the facts that should be the REAL news. Read the story and please comment and let the world know your opinion.

Paris Hilton may have just landed her first sit-down interview post-pokey – and like all things Paris, it’s going to be pricey.
The New York Post reported that NBC has agreed to pay the jailbird up to $1 million for a “Today” show interview with Meredith Vieira on Wednesday, the day after she’s sprung from jail.
One million bucks, divided by 23 days behind bars – that means Paris made $43,478 every day she was in the slammer!
The deal has apparently infuriated ABC executives who were hoping to land Paris’ first interview with Barbara Walters.
Barbara has been blabbing that she’s spoken to Paris’ mom Kathy frequently, and sources say she had been banking on being the first to hear from her.
ABC was the front-runner until NBC Universal boss Jeff Zucker personally called Paris’ dad Rick and made the pitch. Apparently, it was an offer the Hiltons just couldn’t refuse.
Paris’ busy spokesman Eliot Mintz said he “can’t confirm or deny” the report.
And that may be just the beginning – Hugh Hefner and Playboy have also reportedly put a lucrative offer on the table. No word on whether Paris will take that either.
While Paris gets ready to run to freedom, attention is now shifting to friend Nicole Richie and her battle to avoid time behind bars.
She’ll make a court appearance July 11 and could face 90 days to a year if she’s convicted on her second DUI offense.
i love Paris. Every one of you ppl that have something bad to say about her are jus jealous!! Shes an icon that everyone will remember. I too come from a wealthy family, we just play th cards we are dealt with, we didnt choose to have milions at our fingertips to play with we were just born with it. Every person plays a different role in society and Paris plays it well i think. GO PARIS!!!
If you were Paris Hilton you would take the million dollars too if someone is going to pay for your story. We are the ones surfing her on the net and watching her on TV. Also as far as the photo of her going back to jail she did not bust herself out of jail. You know you would cry too when you got put back in the slammer! GO PARIS!!!
everyone should boycott the today show on the day that paris is on the show why should that bitch make millions off of us. anyone companies that represented her should all drop the bitch. have her millions taken away and be thrown out on the streets. playboy shouldnt waste their time and money on that spoiled rich brat i"m sure they have better things to do with their money then spend it on her.we all are really getting tired of hearing about her their are other famous people we would like to hear about too.
paris hilton is a spoiledc snob that nobody likes.she doesnt deserve anythimng that she has.And she has the iq of a worm!
paris hilton is a spoiledc snob that nobody likes.she doesnt deserve anythimng that she has.And she has the iq of a worm!
I'm just wondering something:
If a leaked relapse video of a drunk paris hilton, who hypothetically was caught on tape by her mom and/ or sister both demanding she get help for her addiction and she hypothetically was eating an In N Out burger, were released widely without her permission, how would she have handled that?
Probably the same way she reacted when she had to go back to jail, like a crybaby, which is still the most inexcusable thing she ever has done in her life.
paris hilton is herself a predictable joke. End of discussion.
WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT PARIS? THIS WHOLE THING HAS BEEN A "JOKE" TO MAKE THE COURTS/LAW LOOK STUPID!!!!
i totaly agree with micheal h, paris is a poiled rich kid, she may be 26 yrs old but she rarely, if ever acts it. she wines and complains about every little thing and doesnt relize how easy she has it nor does she act greatfull that her hole life, everything was basicaly handed to her, sept mayby a few lil things along the way she did herself, other than that the money came from mommy and daddy. and paris should not get out of jail early cause she is rich or a celeb, she should have to do the full sentance, just like any one else who breakes the law ! sh should NOT get " special " privileges because she is a celeb either, wich she does get a lot of, its not only really annoying, but it isunfair to those other people that do have to do their full sentancess !

Pardon me while I don't watch paris hilton laugh all the way to the bank over a superficial interview from Mars…..
I don't understand why so much money's been wasted on someone who proclaimed she found God, but in actuality making money off of her own predictably dumb stupid stuff.
I think paris hilton is like Martha Stewart revisited, as in she didn't do anything wrong.
What a waste of tainted network money.
$1 million for a friggin' interview after spending time in the slammer??!! WTF is this?! Give the $1 million to someone else and make a living out of it. Paris Hilton is nothing more than a rich spoiled blonde who has an I.Q. of a cockroach!

$1mil for an interview after jail? How ridiculous! I'll do my best to make my mil$ by working for it.
:
Shaikh.M.Ijaz-ul-Haque writes that in this day and age sensationalism has overtaken real news. Had the same happen to an ordinary person would NBC have forked out that amount of money.
Whilst I do neither agree nor condone such an action I am a realist and can the reasoning behind it.Public loves that sort of thing and NBC know that even if a $million was paid their ratings will more than recoup their expenditure.
But then we are back to egg and chicken situation.Has the public fuelled this sort of sensationalism or has the public ben manipulated by the media for its own gain.
No matter, what is said or done the fact remains that Paris Hilton is a $million richer not that she needs it.
I wonder how much is NBC contributing to the poor and needy of the United States itself.

I personally think that Paris is a rich 2 BIT SLUT that should have done at least six months. Ahe is what she is because dumbass people follow her like a puppy dog. What is so great about her anyway? She has a cute face NO BODY and is a snopb that I would not walk to my door to see, much less spend valuable time watching her on TV. I also agree people should boycott the show. REMEMBER PEOPLE THESE CELEBS ARE NOTHING WITHOUT YOU. And for one she is nothing with you LOL
:
Paris is either a very spoiled person or a very smart one
that plays the media in her little fingers!!
I'm NOT judging her,SOMEONE else Will!
Good Luck to her!
:
I think you're all just jealous. If you had the chance of picking up a cool million just to tell of your experiences inside, I bet you'd jump at it. Tell me I'm wrong but I won't believe you.
:
I can not believe all the big hoopla over Pairs Hilton. If America could only get excitied about something worthwile then just think of all the good we could do.
:
Instead of paying Paris Hilton, 1 million dollars for a post jail interview (i'd rather watch a blank screen than tune into this). Why don't they show some class and dignity, by donating the money to MADD(mothers against drunk driving)
Paying money to a person who's had 3 drunk driving citations, had her license suspended and shows, she has no regard for the law,or whom she could have harmed or killed by driving drunk, is in my opinion a total disgrace and pure lack of judgement by "any" network that would give this air time.
:
Leave it to the American Press to give a wealthy person even more for breaking the law. there should have been more punishment. Here is an idea, Why not give the million dollars to the service men's family who are being killed on foreign lands. Those people are the icons for America, not some dingbat with an IQ of DUI. NBC, ABC, CBS and other networks should give more attention to real heroes, who are protecting our rights
:
Paris is like Most Rich Kid's, Just trying to find herself and Everyone gets to watch because of her Notoriety. If it was you or me, no one would know about it except the next door neighbors.
$1 mil is a lot of money to spend on such an outlandish interview, but news media has always went after, what ever is in the cooker.
:
I am giving every support to Paris Hilton. I have no idea what she is supposed to have done to have to spend 'time' for it, but if the time has been spent then, face it, she has paid her debt. End of story. Few people who have ever been through the humiliating "mill" of the law (which is 'an ASS' in any country) have any idea of the misery it wreaks on an individual in the build-up to the sentence. And frequently what a person is "supposed to have done" few people care about. The very fact that the 'Sacred Law' has condemned them is enough to bring down this pile of shameful criticism by the ignorant. Now that is not right. As for the $million, well that's the going rate. And I would say it ain't enough!
:
Paris Hilton- she is a snobby spoiled brat that don't deserve another dime. If common folk get in trouble dont they have to do all their time when their sentenced just about all of them do especially if its less than three months. Also, you dont get to go home for a couple of days for an anxiety attack that is what doctors are for and yes they have them available in jail too. Earning money for her story is stupid pay the guards or one of the ladies that saw her in their they probably need the money way more then Paris does. I hope Nicole Richie does all her time too when its her turn. All these girls needs to deal with reality and know that their all just spoiled, ungrateful, and dont deserve special treatment. Hugh Hefner he probably already has pics of her what more does he need?
:
I think it's so predictable that it's funny. Of course she will try to get money out of this situation.
:
And how can celebrities be punished for breaking the law when they get paid 1000 times more to sell the story to the press! It's ridiculous!
:
How many hungry children in this country can NBC feed for 1 Million Dollars? What other GOOD can be done? This was my favorite morning news show until I heard this. Paris has just about zero credibility if they are thinking to try and make this a positive message. Please NBC, re-consider.
:
If there are people who are dump enough to wanting to know and watch what was going one daily in the jail by their icon, they would be people crazy enough to pay for it. This is a free world.
:
There is a couple of points to remember here I think. Firstly, we do STILL live and work in a democracy I believe and as such we can make personal decisions about almost anything. YOU have exactly the same rights as Paris Hilton no more and no less. It really a matter for the individual….that is her right.
Secondly, it is very much a moral / ethical question. Do you really think this is a good example to be setting for the public at large and especially our children. The only thing many young minds will see is the fact that "If I do something wrong I can be rewarded". That is just asking for trouble in coming generations.
:
I think it is ridiculous that first she gets away with what she did and now she is getting paid $1 Million bucks to talk about it? Come on! I understand a lot of people like her but I personally cannot stand her. Why is it all of these celebrities get away with so much but if it was one of us we would have served the maximum sentence and do you think we would get paid to tell our story? No way because we are just regular people and she is a big shot celebrity. I would tell what I really think about her but I don't want to get into trouble so we will just leave it at this.
:
I really think this Paris Hilton thing is a joke.
She's even made a joke with the Law now.
Maybe it was just a big have to get money and publicity.
Can sure see money talks though
If that was 1 of us we would of had to pay for our crimes
and do the time.
Just because she's got money she can get out of it and do what she likes.
She really had everyone's attention before and after her so-call jail time and i'm sure there'll be more things to come.
Wow lucky her for getting more money after her horrible ideal
I wish someone would pay me that much for my story.
I wonder if her friends would really like her if she had no money and no big party's to run
Poor poor rich girl!!
:
You think this is about Paris Hilton? It's a ploy by NBC to get ABC to up the ante, get the interview and then ABC gets to look stupid! And NBC comes out on top again! Of course the book deal and the new miniseries will be flops, too.
:
1 million dollars for an interview we all knew this was coming its just another way for her to make money
and dont worry her book will be out soon.
June 23, 2007
:
If Paris has any decency, she would donate all she earns from telling her story to charities such MADD or such organisations. Similarly any other celebrity should do the same that gets paid for a telling their story after being jailed for a crime.
:
Sure it's a strange unfair world but hey, NBC is giving people just what they want. And Paris? To be honest: I don't really care and why should I? It's her own business and it seems like she knows how to play the money game very well.
:
I heard on the news last night that NBC WILL NOT be paying Paris Hilton $1 million dollars for an interview.
But, if she receives money for ANY interviews she gives, Paris should donate the money to a WORTHY charity, after all it is not like she needs the money.
If Paris has "changed", as she claims she has, this would be the right thing to do.
:
Exactly what I was thinking. It's not about her being rich; it's about her facing the consequences for her actions like every other human being. Her getting paid for an interview is like she's getting compensated for sitting her butt in jail for crimes she committed over and over again. It's disgusting. NBC, you're beginning to lose my respect.
:
Let's see now, Paris came from money. While she's in jail she's still making money?!!? So if I committ the same crime will I be… just over broke? Or will I get a million dollars too?!?! Maybe I should make her kind of riches too, yeah… that'll help.

:
The rich keep getting richer & the poor are starving to death. I say feed the hungry children with that money. God Bless America!
June 26, 2007
:
I think that it is very honorable that Paris is making something good out of a bad situation! I would gladly do the same if I had the chance. Who wouldn't?
:
I wonder if NBC has ever stopped to think that if they quit paying these infantile celebrities such ridiculous amounts of money (which they don't need, by the way) for interviews about behavior unbecoming a child, let alone an adult, they might be doing the world a favor. The celebrities might actually realize that people don't find their antics funny or newsworthy and be forced to grow up. I find it shameful when we have soldiers in Iraq younger than Paris Hilton fighting to keep this country free so that she can act like an ass, NBC would give her another million dollars to do so. Why doesn't NBC instead donate that money to the military so that they can afford better body armor for our soldiers so fewer of them die? What Paris Hilton needs is to have to face life without her daddy's millions, all the cameras and all the attention she's used to receiving; then maybe she would see what the real world is all about. The real world doesn't revolve around Paris Hilton and she will never learn that as long as people are willing to pay her millions no matter how she acts. She has done nothing in her entire life to deserve payment of a million dollars and if she had one once of conscience she would donate the money to charity. Stop giving so much press time to spoiled little rich kids and start giving it to the real heroes of the world, the military, the firemen, the policemen, the emergency rescue squads, the emergency room workers, etc. they are the ones who deserve it and the people we should want our children to look up to. I sure hope God blesses this country because we sure have our values screwed up right now.

Why all the jealousy?
Paris is 'Street-Wise' even if she does come from a privelaged background.
So, she committed a driving offence and got jailed?
People do far worse and walk the streets with just a slap on the wrist.
I'm more concerned about the 'Hip-hop' culture that glamourizes 'REAL' criminals. Murderers, Rapists, Pimps & Drug Dealers etc.
These thugs make millions from their crap lyrics that they put to pre-construed backing tracks.
Paris can make as much money as she likes as far as I'm concerned. The more she makes, the more she pays in taxes to keep the 'Whingers' of this world in healthcare and benefits.
Plus, she has a great sense of humour. Something the 'Hip-Hoppers' could learn from.
Pete.

If there were no Paris there would be another. This is all masks and icons folk. To become interested in it even tangentally is simply to join the dance of the masks. That we live in an abased culture is nothing new. I look for a change by 2020.
:
There is a very popular line of clothing in Hawaii that has chosen as it's name Ainokea. Looks and sounds Hawaiian but it isn't. It is pronounced I No kea, pidgin English that means I Don't Care!
:
I have nothing against Paris. On one hand she's just a kid on the wild. On the other hand the kid happens to be an heiress, and she is white, and therefore is afforded privileges she wouldn't be otherwise. She is in the news so much, gets special treatment, and gets paid big bucks for doing nothing really just because of what she is.
Paris is smart enough to take advantage of everything people give her, and thereby doesn't depend on her rich parents for everything.
I don't think she deserves all of the positive attention and money coming her way, but she didn't tell other people to act in ways that are a whole lot crazier than anything she has done. She's getting over! She knows it, and I just pray that the type of intelligence she is displaying in doing so will at some point lead to her doing something that she can be proud of.
I truly hope to some day read that she is a whole lot more than some spoiled little rich girl. I feel that one day this girl could be one heck of a woman. I'll pray that she makes it.

I would believe anything she is able to gain from this, why not she is famous. Why not get paid?
:
It's really all about how far anyone lets their hypocrisy go, isn't it?
Yes.
My hypocrisy only goes so far, and as far as it goes here is exploiting this exploitative, self-serving, money-driven blog posting about Paris Hilton to say who is really at the top of the pyramid - the merciful, the pure in heart, and those that refuse to bow down to the status quo that desires to see dirty spots on everyone so that they feel comfortable in their hypocritical, self-serving illusion.
As for Paris Hilton, the so-soul-sold-out status quo does not want to see her mention anything about reaching higher, wanting to do better, take steps to change, because her pre-jailing behaviour served to fuel their own pathetic existence that desires sense-gratification and self-service, and all the fashionable insanity that Hollywood regurgitates on a daily basis. They despise seeing anyone reach for something higher, with real purpose and resolve, and they remain degradingly impotent in spirit.
As for my part, I hope Paris Hilton did have a "reality" moment long enough to see the everlasting Divine Dream existing beyond the Hollywood illusion, and that she does endeavor to do better. I can only imagine the spoiling that she has had from youth, but it is not hard to see the challenge before her because of the monetary resources so readily available to her are not making it easier to reach higher, it's just harder to exercise self-discipline when one has so much comfort. Having so many riches available makes it easier to give in to the moment, to cave in to the power the wealth brings.
People can change, but the status quo wants us all to believe that we are all permanently dirty and can never come clean. That way their own hypocrisy seems so excusable to their depraved minds, and they fail to reach higher themselves.
The mainstream media that looks for sensationalism sucks up to it like a spunge, and their hypocrisy really stands out the most. Very few of the talking heads give any support for the thought that Paris Hilton could change and do something better with her life. They too, the mainstream media, are a product of the collective desires in mankind today that seeks cheap thrills to have something to fill in their dull lives. But this is changing, people are changing.
Paris, if you ever see this, do not believe in the world…believe in yourself and the still voice inside that longs to have a conversation with your conscious mind. That still voice inside is the same in us all, the voice that makes us all One, and wholly responsible for all we see before us.
I'm sorry. I love you. Forgive me for being a part of the whole collective that made you careless. We are all responsible for what we are experiencing, and the sooner we realize this and that there are no secrets that can be hidden, the sooner that real change will happen. It is happening, and those of you that think that the status quo is going to stay in the antiquated paradigm that it is in…get ready…it's already changing. And you cannot stop it…it is inevitable. IF you remain in that illusion, your insanity will increase while those that look above will see all things clearly, and overcome.
The Matrix is going down.

What a world? Many hungry children all over the world can feed for 1 Million Dollars.Business is ok. But not for a snob that nobody likes.
:
I think it would be the best thing she could ever do if she would spend that million to the poor.

:
Don't know why we're still discussing the so called NBC Paris Hilton interview.NBC declined all interviews with her, well over a week ago. The only interview with Paris, was on CNN'S Larry King program ad that aired last Wednesday night.
:
ainokea (I don't care) about her but money should go to MADD since she went to jail for dui.

Hi,Paris Hilton May God Bless you. God loves you alot, he does not want you to do wrong, this he punished you so that you will not do serious mistake in future. The only friend you have right now is God, you can always ask his help and he will be there.
Money $1Million you should take and any other money to make people shutup but I know a name that cannot be erased until death but be happy and make your heart healthy and you will always be happy. God says if the Holy Books were in the hands of the human beings they will expose them in the market that is why it is in the hands of God. So this is the assessment of human beings. So whoever wants to pay you money say thankyou and accept and they will shutup immediately without a comment.
:
It's her decision, what she is doing with her live, all the possibilities and the money she has. All what she is doing now are experiences for her life tomorrow. Live is like a coin: it has both sides. With every sunrise for a new day we have the chance, to begin the day with new desicions.
:
Don't blame Paris - blame the general public for being interested.
The media don't run stories on you and me, because nobody's interested.
As soon as people stop buying the magazines with Paris on the cover, as soon as they don't make the Paris interview a "must watch" program, the media will drop her like O.J. Simpson.
:
1 million dollars for a couple of weeks in jail! jeez, she cannot seriously have experienced the real conditions of jail. she was seperated from the bad prisoners and had a pretty easy time of it! maybe they can give me the 1 million. i deserve it because i am law abiding and have just been medically retired with no damn future to look forward to! i hope the tv ratings drop dramatically when she is interviewed!
:
I don't much care for paris Hilton but if someone offered me one million dollars for my story I'd give it to them, so I can't blame paris for taking the offer. The thing is that if the American people didn't buy the books, watch the interviews, etc. then Paris Hilton and all the others who sell their "bad girl"/ "bad boy" stories wouldn't get a dime. The TV networks, publishers, and those who make these deals only do so because they know the American people for all their gripeing about these type of people and situations will still tune in, turn on or buy the book or movie that tells the story, in the end it is not the publisher, tv producer who have paid Paris Hilton or any of the others who have and will continue to sell theri story but it is you, me and everyone who supports these movies, televison shows and books.

It is not PH on trial here - she served the sentence she was required to. (And assuredly did no more than any of us would have done , or would do, to keep that to a minimum).
Like ANY of us - apart from you saints that doth protest - she used whatever means were at her disposal to get and serve a light sentence.
Now some supposedly righteous institution tries to cash in on her fame by buying her story in hopes of making a huge profit. Would YOU refuse $1,000,000 - whether the sun shines out of your anus or not? - I think not.
The saintly among you would no doubt donate it some worthy cause. The more honest among us would consider ourselves, our family and our friends a worthy enough cause.
The scandal - if any exists - is that for such institutions nothing is too low to stoop for in hopes of earning a fast buck. And in MY OPINION, rewarding someone for commiting a crime is just about as low as you CAN stoop.
Certainly if it were up to me I would have all the Directors of the company slung into jail for making a mockery of our judicial system.(For surely rewarding someone for talking about their criminal activities is doing just that!)
Paris may be no saint - and she's certainly no friend or favourite of mine - but I'd hazzard a guess she is no worse than myself or 999.999% of the population.
Don't blame her or other ex cons that get paid for recounting their exploits - blame the dollar-hungry hypocrites that try to capitalize from their crimes.
:
I believe the hunger and thirst for this type of news is a sad indication of our nation's moral condition.
:
So sad! The networks could report on much more important subjects. It's all about the money. I boycot any network that does stupid stuff like this. I email them to complain. As my mother (she's 92 now) used to say: "the world's going to hell in a handbasket".

America is in a bad state of living right now. Our court systems are very unfair and bias. Im not in the least bit mad she made a million dollars for telling her story. Hopefully, Parris will learn from her mistake.

:
This was not a test for Paris Hilton but for the American people and we failed it miserably. If we would stop watching and supporting the networks who cater to sensationalism these types of interviews would disappear. If there's no money in it the networks will stop. We need to stop gripin' and stop watchin' and send the networks a message, "Don't waste our time and money on this stuff! As long as you continue to run these sensational stories you will get no audience in us." If we back down from what we say we believe or want then they have won and will continue. Let's put our support or lack of it where our mouth is.

Paris is not to blame.
The media is not to blame.
That's like blaming the poppy growers for our drug problems.
The Media will pay idiot people for insane interviews because the public wants to watch them.
Cure the drug problem and the poppy growers will change crops.
Educate the population and we will watch educational programs rather than misguided TV hosts interviewing misfits like Paris Hilton.

i love Paris. GO PARIS!!!
